An Event Creator Community Platform & Accelerator Program
CHALLENGE
During my time as Head of Strategy at Imprint Projects, we built a global brand platform supporting event creators for the Saas ticketing Platform Eventbrite. Covid decimated the event industry, and we needed to partner with eventbrite on a creator recovery effort to bring new leads and sustain existing ones.
APPROACH
We launched RECONVENE, a global community of event creators complete with educational community programming and an accelerator to support creators in launching and growing their dream events, connect with each other, and grow their business. The program served as a powerful content and lead generation engine which continues to this day.
RESULTS
- The effort led to participants hosting 79% more events and selling 28% more tickets in the first year.
- It generated 8K new leads and $2.3M in gross ticket funds
- It supported +20k customers across their journey - from the spark of an event idea to scaling it.
- Participants were also 3x more successful on the eventbrite platform compared to non-participants.
Eventbrite's RECONVENE Accelerator provides direct support to emerging creators who build community and shape culture by laying the groundwork for interactive opportunities for creators to not only share ideas and grow their skills, but also contribute to the growth of others.
